Andrew and Jane welcome you to Whigmaleeries, a traditional West Highland style house with a well appointed self catering apartment which has its own private entrance and parking.

We also have en-suite Bed and Breakfast Accommodation available.

We are situated just off the Craignure to Salen road on a country lane surrounded by open fields with sheep and highland cattle as our neighbours. There are panoramic views across the Sound of Mull to Morven and the mountains beyond Loch Linnhe.

The sea is just a gentle 5 minute stroll away and there are also several forest walks nearby.

An abundance of wildlife can be seen from Whigmaleeries including Buzzard, Sea Eagle, Heron, Oystercatcher and Curlew. We have both Swallow and House Martin nesting at Whigmaleeries and there are Red Deer nearby and frequent sightings of Otter along the coastline.

There can be few places to rival this idyllic island for its sheer variety of landscape, from dramatic mountains to rocky coast, historic castles and waterfalls and of course the wildlife is never far away.

So if you long for fresh clean air, amazing history and geology, empty beaches then the Isle of Mull is the perfect place to relax and unwind, take time to enjoy plenty of walks, fishing, whale watching, photography and painting.
